So is it going to be a Poseidon Adventure type game where you have to save as many people as you can? Because that would be awesome.

Though I do wonder how well it will cope when it fills up with water. Will all that furniture float?

The dangerous game of Spec Ops: The Line

It sounds very impressive, like it might have both strategic and emotional depth. But this sort of thing is very hard to pull off, as the clipboard moment demonstrates. I don't want to get my hopes up about this one.

Far Cry 2 tried to cover this ground and, while not an uninteresting game, it didn't open up the FPS genre in the way I'd hoped it might. Heart of Darkness is well trodden territory and it opens you up to comparisons with Apocalypse Now, which are unlikely to be favourable.

Good to see the Spec Ops series back anyway. Very much enjoyed it's split screen antics on the PS1.
