I am interested to see what they come up with, all in all, whether it is a complete failure or a success will not affect my Gaming.. With all the brilliant new releases, such as Skyrim, I have nothing to worry about. In saying that, I would love to add another successful game to my collection. :)
Also, if any RTS can come close to SC2, I will deffinately be adding it to my collection. I still love my AOE games though..
I must say, the combat isn't superb.. And ofcourse combat is a huge part of The Elder Scrolls series, but in saying that, my Mage has developed some fantastic new Spells that all have different effects and looks. I was displeased with the constant slash and stab on melee combat, but with the ultimate finishing kills now in place in Skyrim, it adds a little more "WOW!" to the melee system.
All in all, Skyrim has caught nearly 50 hours of my attention. And I have loved every second of it.. The depth storyline and how your choices can have quite large consequences, the side quests and how exciting they are, the factions, becoming a werewolf, sucking blood from any sleeping person as a vampire, riding a horse and suddenly you're neck and neck with a fire breathing dragon, pub brawls, coming home after a hard days work as a black-smith to your wife in your highly decorated house. The possibilities with this game are endless, the moral?
Don't let one aspect of the game that needs improving dishearten you, it truely is The Game Of The Year.
