This sucks, now they are going to charge taxes for purchasing things from xbox live. Just like PSN, everytime I buy a game they charge a tax for living in Cali. That is why I love the points system, you can buy a 1600 card from ebay(tax free) and then use the points without worrying about the tax. Now it is going to be just like PSN, I go to the store and buy a 20 dollar psn card thinking I am going to buy two 10 dollar games only to come home and find out that I can only buy one 10 dollar game because they charge taxes.

What's up with Double Fine and Microsoft? First Trench (Iron Brigade) and Sesame Street, now this. Why do they not release games on PS3 any more?

This happened to me about a year ago. I tried to sign in one night and it would not let me. I checked my email and it said that I purchased 6000 points twice(and they bought a lot of arcade games),xbox live gold 12 months and they purchased a few Games on Demand games. I called microsoft immediately and they locked my account and removed the credit cards right away, then they asked me if if I gave out my email address and password to anyone, I said no, they also asked me if I signed in to xbox live over the internet and I said yes, And I did sign in over the internet the day before, Then I remembered that I signed in using a link that someone had posted to xbox live on Afterdawn. I later revisited that link and I noticed the link in the address bar at the log in screen wasn't the same as microsofts log in screen, everything was identical on both pages except the link in the address bar. I knew immediately that someone had phished me. It took microsoft 30 days to get my account back, and the cool thing was that I got to keep everything the hacker stole(purchased) on my account and microsoft also gave me 1600 microsoft point and 3 months xbox live.
