I don't even look at a game's achievement list anymore prior to playing. If I unlock one during my normal play through, great, but I don't go out of my way to get them. Unless I have already finished the game and I am bored and decide to go back and get a few extra ones. Which is rare.

I'm not buying it right now for two reasons:

a) Like has been mentioned, the next-gen dvd format war is not over yet, and I do not want to be stuck with a obsolete format.

b) I need to wait for reviews of the drive to see whether it is a quality HD-DVD player, or a lower end model. I want nothing but the best for my HDTV.

Sorry, I couldn't let it go. What I actually miss is the "GOOD old days".

I'm gonna miss the gold old days of $19.99 Platinum Hits. They felt like much more of a bargain.

But, who am I kidding? Two of those titles (Kameo and PGR3) I already picked up from Circuit City, brand new, for $19.99. Kameo a couple months back and PGR3 as recent as last week.

Ah yes of course, the PS had a 10 year life cycle . . . even though it has been collecting dust in my closet for 6 years now. I'm sure it still works fine, maybe that is what he means. :)

I always try to finish a game at least once. I own very few games I have never beaten. Just a thing I have. Kinda like reading the manuals. I have to read a game's manual first before I play the game. It is weird. I think I have a problem. :p

Looks like the delay was to get the emulator working to run the Xbox version. Great job guys!!
