"If you even wanted to experience that kind of game, you need to either have a Super Nintendo or a Game Boy, or an original PlayStation."
Uh, Symphony of the Night is on XBLA. And Konami still makes games like it all the time. And stuff like Dark Void Zero exists on DSiWare. The genre wasn't abandoned. It just moved.
It's always funny when people try to call the game buggy because it was never buggy at all. And the framerate was just fine with the game installed unless you got hit by those few attacks that would hit everyone and splatter blood everywhere.
The pop-in was actually not as bad as Mass Effect's and neither were the load times and yet Last Remnant just gets shat upon like some sort of diseased bum. It was also a better game than Mass Effect.
I don't want single-player to be more social. That's why it's called single-player. I want my game to have a fully fleshed out, long and enjoyable single-player campaign in every single game. It is absolutely retarded that this is not how things work anymore.
Multiplayer is not a substitute for a strong single-player. It absolutely is not.
Oh my god tmac. Oh my god. Like, oh my god. I can't even begin to start to imagine just how retarded you really are. You have to be an absolute black hole of taste. And no, I don't care about what other stuff you like. What you just said is so unbelievably stupid that it more than likely shattered a section of the universe.
I love how everyone talks like they have the answer. "There's no marketing!" Since when do Marvelous, Ignition and XSEED have enough money for that? The answer is never. "Why didn't they just make games for the other systems in the first place?" Again, it's pretty clear that they just don't have the money to incur those sorts of development costs in the first place.
Everyone here talks like every company under the sun has enough money to just push out some super high-end game on 360 and PS3 within one year and market it with some beast of a promotion on the sides of buses and billboards and that the only reason anyone puts out a game on the Wii is because they want to throw out minigames. Hint: Your average Japanese developer can't do that. They want to bring out real games but lack the funding to work with the ridiculous development costs of the HD systems. Thus, the Wii is their home if they want to release a console experience.
Standards on what companies can do is really really badly inflated in the minds of the consumer these days.
Just so people know, it's already confirmed that neither the PS3 or 360 US games will have Japanese voice acting. It's english only. This is because they're redoing the lip sync to match the english voice acting to make the game as smooth as possible. It's the correct and smart choice.
Also, FF12 had some of the best voice acting in gaming history so I have at least some faith in it.
On the scorehero forums, one of the more respected members went to some event where he got to talk to Mustaine and he said that yes, we can expect another Megadeth album and that it is Rust in Peace. He's also gone on record multiple times saying he wants it in the game.
Too bad Hottest Party 2 is actually one of the best DDR home versions in a long time. The songlist and charts are FAR better than what's in DDR X and still better than Supernova 1 or 2. Universe 3 is the only one with anything better.
