It seems to me like Sony is just trying to recoup the money lost during the PSN outage. Why should I spend $250 for the Vita? In fact, me working at a game store, how can I look someone in the face and tell them that $250 is a legit price for a handheld? Everytime I explain the features, people love it. Then when I tell them the price, they get turned off. They aren't happy with the lack of backwards compatibility, and now the UMD passport won't be here. If I were going to tell someone to get a handheld after the Vita comes out, I might as well tell them a Nintendo 3DS, BECAUSE $170 looks much better than $250. Especially since a NEW PS3 costs the same price as a Vita.
Vita 'UMD Passport' won't be offered in US
