@EGOvoruhk Considering he posted it at 6AM, he could have played it around 6 hours. I'm sorry, but I'm about 6 hours into the game and I can already declare that this is going to be my vote for GOTY.
PS, you people are also forgetting that street dates are broken all the time. My cousin got his copy Monday afternoon because Amazon shipped it too soon.
I feel awful that I'm not buying this any time soon (collectors or regular). I loved the first and would love to support the second (especially since I bought the first used), but considering I have ME3 tonight, still haven't completely finished Fallout NV or Skyrim, I'm seriously backlogged from the past couple years, plus college/work is hectic I'm going to have to pass.
What it needs is a new developer that will actually make it feel more like an RPG rather than a 9 hour adventure game that I can finish in one night. Seriously, I bought Fable II/III purely on the nostalgia of the original. Fable shouldn't necessarily be a 50+ hour game or anything, but if you take out the ridiculous "find 9 million shitty books" and "shoot 8 billion awkwardly place gnomes" every part of the game can be finished in like 8 hours.
Also, does anyone remember the teaser/opening scene of Fable II? I came like 15 times... for nothing.
The AAs weren't necessarily a bad thing, Bungie was just awful with implementing them. Sprint was definitely a need for Halo (yes, some people use it for cheap means, but it's also useful just to speed things up a bit). Every other ability was fine, Bungie just didn't monitor them. It took them months to fix the armor lock bs. AAs should be there as an extra assist, not as a primary tactic.
Also, I don't think there will be a DMR if they're bringing back the BR. BR, 3-shot burst 4 shot kill, vs DMR, one-shot burst 5-shot kill.
@(Unverified) If you were basing it on "incoming" future events and not past releases, wouldn't that make you look like a "moron" for having no basis for assuming that there will be a yearly release?
You can keep claiming about "reports" all you want, but they both still have advantages and disadvantages. You never addressed the original argument the guy above made about WASD, it's extremely quirky compared to an analog stick. An analog stick beats WASD every time and if you think otherwise, I'd say you're the one who is in denial. Also, these "published studies" are just as bs'd as every other statistic in the world. I can take 10 people who've PC gamed their entire lives and 10 people who play the Wii, then make the assumption that M/K are the best. Also, the left stick doesn't give me carpel tunnel, unlike my keyboard. Most controllers naturally fit in your hand and cause a lot less awkward movements than the placement your hands take while using M/K.
You shouldn't be complaining about the xbox being the only one to get it, you should be complaining that it's happening at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm completely okay with the day one DLC for ME3, but given Capcom's history with DLC you can guarantee this DLC is all on the disc and has been complete for quite a while. This should be free for both consoles in my opinion. Or at least free for xbox, then free for PS3 at a later date.
For me nothing beats the 3 losers who actually go to the midnight releases 5 hours before midnight (that aren't Halo/COD, because they are usually huge in my area) and then I roll in at 11:55 and still manage to get out with-in five minutes of them.
