I'm actually shocked that they didn't change the names of the characters, this may be actually worth picking up on day one after all.

I'm fully expecting this to be butchered to hell, similar to Capcom's first Sengoku Basara release (Devil Kings), since I'm sure the Japanese will think that American kids are too dumb to pronounce the names or understand the story. So, I'm expecting this to be about becoming everyone's friend and Oda's name will be changed to Bob.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited about the game, and will likely be picking it up, I'm just not expecting Nintendo to do an accurate translation of the game.

Umm...Steel Battalion is a retail release, so even if it does arrive first, Dragon's Lair will still be the first XBLA titles to support both control styles.

Anyway, I've never played this game, but I've always been interested, perhaps this XBLA release will finally get me to bite on this title.

I never got a chance to really play the .hack games, but you gives us an HD collection, or a PS2 classics release, and get Namco to release the .hack costumes for Tales of Graces and I'll help support that franchise.

@XAV Actually, the one next to Baird, the Savage Hunter, is new, but you're right that the others were the pre-order characters.

...Okay. I'll save judgement for once I see some actual content, but I have a feeling I'll be saving my money for Skullgirls.

This doesn't seem that surprising, Halo has a line of Mega Blocks toys and last time I was at Target they had toys for Crysis 2 and Assassin's Creed in the action figure aisle. Considering that these are just the vehicles from the franchise I don't think it's all that big of a deal.

@Jameseh Well, there actually was already a sequel to the PTCG on the Gameboy Color, but sadly it never saw the light of day outside of Japan.

I think this is the best way for Sony to go, the Vita hasn't really taken off in Japan yet, and I honestly think with the current economic climate they'd have a similar situation on their hands were they to release the PS4 too soon. I say kick back and see how the Wii U does before doing anything drastic, Sony isn't exactly in a good place financially as it is, and I don't think they could really support both the Vita and a new console, at least until the Vita takes off, plus the Wii U will be a good measure of how new hardware will sell, especially if you take in to account a lot of the people who bought Wiis were casual gamers and I think you'll have a bit harder time convincing them that they need to upgrade their hardware to keep playing Wii Sports and Wii Fit.
