@eat it "Smart" or not, I fully support Blizzard in this move. Stupid of Valve to come in and claim ownership. Especially when they go around and demand other companies to remove characters. This is especially bad when they do it against some of the previous (or original?) developers of DOTA such as the makers of League of Legends.

I think that is part of the reason but another is the fact that it's XIII-2 and may not be viewed as a fully fledged FF game. I mean FFX-2 didn't sell as well as FFX. The name just doesn't carry the same significance as say FFXV
