Shift 2 Unleashed shifts to stores March 29

That was in NFS Shift too. It's the first game where I really wanted to play from the cockpit view. Right stick was great for using side mirrors and taking a quick glance around you too. Lots of neat cockpit effects in the first one. I''m quite happy to get this. For me Shift was more fun than Forza or GT. It's not as realistic, true, but it got me on the edge of my seat.

Nexus One now a step closer to FM radio support, thanks to modified kernel

@MayorBloomberg On FM I mostly listen to the local Classic Rock or Alt Rock stations. And they are decent. But in Canada, there is no Pandora, Last.fm isn't free and data rates are nuts. My $60 plan only gives me 500MB and there's no unlimited option unless you go to one of the new start-ups that have teeny little networks. I'm not using a huge chunk of my data to listen to much the same content I can already get on my car's radio.

@MayorBloomberg

Sure there is, in regions where data plans are expensive and severely limited and government entities won't allow Pandora or Last.fm. We're not all Americans here.

@jubby2000 Is DivX support hardware based or software? I'd love to see some good Divx support out there on xda and others for rooted Android devices.

The only really annoying glitch I've had was a live bounty that i tied up and picked up. Only he stayed on the ground and I was holding nothing. I couldn't put the nothing down and had to load my last save and do it again.

Be very wary of Motorola. I just got rid of my Milestone that Moto's shoddy 2.1 update damn near killed. I know the Droid was fantastic and open, but if they decide to lock up the bootloader with this one, like they did with the Milestone, you don't want anything to do with it because you have no options. I'm now using a Nexus One and while it doesn't have the same graphical performance, I've noticed a huge jump since they include the JIT compiler in 2.2. It's perfectly capable of running 3d games and always gets the latest update first, at least until the Nexus 2.

Hey, I'm no Apple Guy. In fact I dislike most of their products, but let's be fair. Engadget did the same thing with the Google I/O. A main liveblog and articles for the relevant tidbits.
