EA is The Consumerist's 'Worst Company in America,' wins Golden Poo
Apr 4th 2012 5:39PM (Joystiq)Plus I'd like to think that what Bank of America did has a longer statute of hate limitations than 3 or 4 years.

Apr 4th 2012 5:37PM (Joystiq)True, but the phrase "Project Ten Dollar" makes for a much better punchline than anything EA did this year.
EA is The Consumerist's 'Worst Company in America,' wins Golden Poo
Apr 4th 2012 5:07PM (Joystiq)I'm not one to defend EA (I vehemently hate 99% of everything they publish) but I'd say they're pretty much on the money here.
Is anybody seriously going to stand her and say that EA is worse for America than Walmart, Bank of America or Sallie Mae? Or hell, even Comcast, AT&T or Ticketmaster? I mean, I hate Day One DLC, too, but come on!

Ninja Gaiden 3 DLC increases difficulty and claw count
Apr 3rd 2012 4:15PM (Joystiq)Ah, my (partial) bad. Only the multiplayer DLC is going to cost money.
This whole situation still blows chunks, though.
Ninja Gaiden 3 DLC increases difficulty and claw count
Apr 3rd 2012 4:14PM (Joystiq)Normally I don't go around bitching about DLC, but Ninja Gaiden is known for two things; having lots of upgradeable weapons to kill people with, and being balls-out hard. Ninja Gaiden 3 was released as having neither of those features, and now they're being sold as DLC?
That's like buying a Mario game, only to find out that the magic mushrooms and the ability to jump won't be added until a month later, and will cost ten bucks. This is seriously low.
PlayStation 3 gets Amazon Instant Video ... kinda out of nowhere
Apr 3rd 2012 3:51PM (Joystiq)I was wondering because Sony has been holding out on this service for a while, even though they were among the first to add Hulu and Netflix. It was uncharacteristic and a loss of potential revenue, hence "getting their shit together."
Way to jump to conclusions, ass.
PlayStation 3 gets Amazon Instant Video ... kinda out of nowhere
Apr 3rd 2012 1:04PM (Joystiq)I'll have to take a look at their selection; I haven't really checked it since they introduced the Prime freebies, but I wasn't impressed by their lineup at the time, at least not enough to ditch Netflix.
Maybe they'll have enough current shows for me to get rid of Hulu, though. I know it's only 8 bucks a month, but I barely ever use it...
