@liquidsoap89 Yeah but the base $500 dollars is likely to last for quite a while. I've had a 5870 for almost two years now and I'm still getting 40-50 fps with everything maxed out and that is the base card. I'm hoping though I'll be able to pick up a 680 soon AMD have screwed up to many times for me to want to stick with them anymore.
@MyNameIsDonovan Why? If they try to bullshit you into buying the endings that should have been their to begin with. Just watch them on youtube. Unless there is actually a large amount of gameplay included in the DLC.
@rambo8 Stupid Sony believes the PS3 is a 10 year console. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Going by that they think the PS3 will last until 2016. Never going to happen. The sooner these consoles come out the better. My games might actually take advantage of Directx 11 then.
@thelolotov Oh thank you good sir I was giving Origin to much credit thinking it was a new thing. Just goes to show its been around just as long as steam and is still a steaming pile of crap.
@Kougeru Okay there are definitely things wrong with Origin no doubt about that. I personally have had issues with it and all I had tried to use it for was the ME3 demo. For those millions of people using it for BF3 how many people do you think would still be there if they weren't forced to use it? I bet over half of them would easily leave it if they could but they can't. Origin definitely doesn't download three times as fast. I get 1.8mb on steam, Origin I'm lucky if I break 1.2mbs. Also for Origin using less RAM its an extremely minimal difference if you have a problem with that, that is your own fault not the services. Plus Origin is still in freaking beta. The only reason it is out is so EA can use it to collect information on people. Also Origin launched with little to no features. These things were ones that Steam has had for quite some time if your trying to make a competitor at least be on par with your service your trying to beat not way behind. EA's excuse for this was Steam had problems when it came out also. Well Steam is eight years old. Origin couldn't even copy Steam. Its a worthless piece of crap that EA made to spy on customers and make more money thats it.
@nerdydesi1 Yeah thats what I'm going to do. I'm buying a legit physical copy but then pirating it so I don't have origin they still get their money and I still get to play a game without the attached spyware.
@Kibbles XIII Exact same thing happened to me. First playthrough was absolutely fine worked perfectly, then the next playthough stuttered extremely bad until I turned all the graphics to low.
