Aw man. I worked on Rage for about six months, too. I was very concerned about the possibility of being laid off, even if they had decided to hire me full time after my internship was finished. It's so important to keep developing your skills out side of work and maintaining your portfolio in this industry, because you never know where you'll be a year from now. Right after I quit, Zenimax had sent me a threatening letter over a contest I had participated in outside of work and ended up winning money in, despite there being nothing in my contract to forbid it. For those of us who are still relatively new to this industry in particular, we need to do everything we can to be hirable, and it's really upsetting to me that they had so little regard for my best interests. Especially in hindsight over this.

I'm sure I would have been gone if I had still been there. Very unfortunate, I know so many talented friends who worked their butts off over there and a few are confirmed gone today. I hope they all find themselves great new jobs, and wish them the best.
