Genius move considering they will make bank. But also so ridiculously stupid in my eyes. THE GAME IS A MASSIVE LEGO WORLD. You are buying a less cool version of what the game already is. But kudos for making that marketing decision.

EXACTLY! Thank you so much! Finally someone with a brain. You bought DS for the single player, and it was phenomenal. The multiplayer you didn't even have to play, so how does it make it worse? That's not what you bought it for? Just cause it's there doesn't mean you have to play it.

Anyone else notice being able to move your character while you shoot? Big improvement possibly. I don't know, I always enjoyed the fear of not being able to move out of the way. Made the game harder to play. Looks good. Too much action though IMO. Looks like Michael Bay is doing it.

in Soviet Russia, you use Origin.

XII was my first FF that i played, and i thoroughly enjoyed it. as a gained customer, i of course picked up XIII. and as much as i miss all the little things (hub towns, free roam, mini games, side quests, etc) i really really enjoyed the game. i thought it was a fun combat system, and the story was intriguing to me. maybe its cause i havent played the other ones (which im looking forward to the HD remake :D) but from what i have seen, XIII-2 looks like only an improvement imo. cant wait.

also, you would have to be blind to not notice that they did "dumb down" the rpg aspects of me2. not to complain, cause the combat was significantly better. but thats an example of mainstreaming a game.

honestly? im a HUGE mass effect fan, and i loved both games dearly. but i get the same feeling like they dont want to make a specific game for fear of alienating a specific clientele. think about it. theyre not making a bad game, far from it actually, but they are rounding their edges just so some random person doesnt dislike it.
