I sort of wish IGF would only consider games that were complete. Doesn't seem reasonable to nominate games that aren't finished. How did Fez when a grand prize award when it's not finished?

I got the game after the patches came out on the PC. The physics were pretty stellar with the water but everything else was unpolished. I didn't even bother beating the final boss because I just didn't care.

You also went a third of the game without any weapons and two thirds with out your water powers. The pacing was just really off.

I don't tend to buy games on lunch. There are performance issues all around for most developers. Anything else I wait a few months and pick up on sale on Steam. Usually when an expansion comes out after it has already been patched a couple times.

The next game I do buy at lunch will be Diablo III. That is only because I have been playing the beta and it is pretty solid already.

I go out of my way to not purchase a game from EA. I don't trust their Origin service and their DLC policies are horrible.

I wonder how many of those sales where when Minecraft was on sale before the holidays for a $0.10. That is when I bought it.
