It's because having English dubs and Japanese dubs is very expensive, especially for games with a lot of dialogue. (There are licensing fees and all of the Japanese voice actors will expect additional compensation if the game is released in a new market). That is the reason that Atlus had to cut the Japanese voice acting out of Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time. Due to the large amount of Japanese voice-acting, the licensing fees would have been astronomical so they could only afford to put in English dubs on the cutscenes.

I'm so excited! Growlanser Generations were 2 of the best SRPGs I've ever played aside from Shining Force 1-3. I just hope it sells well enough that they bring over Growlanser I for PSP, too.

@Khalus If you have PSP 2000 I believe you can hook it up to an HDTV and play PSP games on that.
