I agree. I've had my PS3 since last Christmas and haven't purchased a game for it since Resistance. I've rented some, but my 360 is getting all the play with Bioshock, Orange Box, Halo 3, etc. Sony needs a slam dunk title in the worst way SOON

The whole Bluray thing isn't much of an incentive until the number of quality titles increases. Same goes for HD-DVD.

The fact that you mentioned Calling All Cars, a dinky arcade title that came out months after the PS3's release, just show how anemic the PS3's lineup is.

I'm a big MGS fan and I like the Blu-Ray feature of the PS3, but Sony is going to be playing catchup for a long time until they release some exclusive AAA, next-gen titles. I'm taking God of War, Sly Cooper, Daxter, Ratchet & Clank...

I own both and the Xbox 360's launch titles absolutely CRUSHED the PS3's one good title (Resistance). PGR3, Madden, Condemned, Amped, NBA 2K, COD 2, Perfect Dark Zero, Need for Speed Most Wanted.

Still to this day, Resistance is the only game worth buying. Virtua Fighter is the sold old rehash, Motostorm has floaty physics, Warhawk is online only. Heavenly Sword (the demo was a mindless s button masher) is comes out tomorrow so I'm not sure how that counts.

My PS3 is a $600 Blu-Ray player.

After playing a levels of this last night, it's already getting sent back to Gamefly. The controls were just too clunky with the Sixaxis to be any real fun. I know its derivative of other Factor 5 games, I just wish they copied the Rouge Squadron control scheme.

Too bad. I like Gilbert, but NBA Live has to the worst sports franchise in the last 7 years. How the mighty have fallen.

The NBA Live situation is also a good rebuttal to the argument that Madden's lack of innovation the last couple years is because there's no competition. EA has some good competition from NBA 2K and they still blow in the hoops category.

I haven't touched my ps3 in months for gaming. It's just a Blu-Ray play to me these days. MGS was by far the biggest game I was waiting for on the system as well. Way to drop the ball Sony.
