If its not busy and you ask, they'll take it out of the case. At least that's what I did at my store for customers.

Trust me I love handhelds and hope they never go away. They are great on the go. Just not a fan of this at all. I can think of better things to spend my money on. First impressions mean everything in life and this is making a horrible first impression.

People are going to buy it if they like it and don't buy it if they don't like it. My comments before about my smartphone doing the same things was based off the video and wiping capabilities. Not the game play.

As far as a fanboy perspective my buddy is a huge Sony fan and loves his PS3 but when he tried it after a minute he put it down and said "no thanks". I applaud Sony for trying but in a market that has been dominated by Nintendo for ages, and the use of devices like the iPad and smartphones, they cannot complete.

Being a game for 25+ years I do believe that the handheld is becoming a thing of the past.

I work at gamestop and got to try this out playing FIFA and I gotta say, the Vita is a piece of crap. The huge drawback is that the buttons are way too small. I can push all four at once with my thumb, which is the primary finger used to play games. The touch screen on the back is way too sensitive to the point that you can't hold by the back because I kept passing the ball when I didn't want to. Not to mention the fact that I can do all the things the vita can do on my smart phone. Vertict: this will end up just like the go..... a paper weight.
