Chrystolis

I preordered way back when, but didn't actually play more than a check-in here and there for quite a long time. That said, some of the patches in the past few months have made the game tremendously more playable and smoother running, not to mention downright gorgeous. I've been playing a lot over the last week or two, and have been having a blast. Some of the game mechanics have changed from the original, but I think it still plays great, just a bit differently (primarily the alien side).

These guys set out to create a AAA shooter with an indie team and budget, and I'd say they're achieving just that. The game is really shaping up nicely, and I think they deserve all the support they can get :)

As others have said, people considering checking out the beta should realize that this is a true beta, and that there are still some things missing from the game, adjustments being made, and mechanics being explored/tweaked. At this point, it's extremely playable and a lot of fun, just be aware that there's still a lot of development going on!
