Mass Effect 3 Vault comes with DLC too
Feb 29th 2012 12:11PM (Joystiq)While the DLC definitely had an influence on my decision, I'm mainly not buying this because there are just too many damn games out. It would be higher on my list without all the extra fluff, but even then I doubt I'd buy it (if anything, I may wait for the inevitable discounts/sales).
I'm not commenting on the quality of the game at all, I just don't have that kind of money to throw around, especially after this past winter of ridiculous games zapped my wallet.
Sorry I touched some nerves voicing my dislike for DLC. And really? The "nuh-uh" card? Classy.

Feb 29th 2012 11:00AM (Joystiq)Hey, I'm not whining, just voicing my opinion with my money. If you are comfortable buying all of this stuff, then by all means spend your hard-earned money. I just can't find any enthusiasm to play a game with this much baggage.

Feb 29th 2012 10:56AM (Joystiq)Yes, yes it is. I take it you haven't seen the occasional posts claiming DLC is good for the industry and can't possibly be exploited?
I hate to sound bitter, but it's true. DLC is here to stay (at least for a while), and you can thank those individuals that saw nothing wrong with paying for a color swap, reskin of a weapon, hell, even significant plot points and events that literally seem cut from the game.
I love DLC.

Feb 29th 2012 10:47AM (Joystiq)Seriously, lol Bioware. This game may be great and all, but I would feel like such an irresponsible consumer buying into this crap that I just can't do it. For you Mass Effect fans out there (and believe me, I realize how great the series is, loved the first game), you have my sympathies.
Report: Baldur's Gate site teases Beamdog-developed franchise project [Update]
Feb 29th 2012 10:33AM (Joystiq)While I'd love another Baldur's Gate, I just can't see them making it like the first two in this day and age, especially if it's different developers. It would most likely be another action/rpg, which are great games, but a genre I'm frankly getting tired of recently; after playing a game like The Witcher 2, it's hard to enjoy a lot of the other ones, personally. :(
An HD version of the first two? Oh hell yes, gimme. My nostalgia will reach critical levels when I find Minsc. :D
Dreamcast's Jet Set Radio coming to XBLA/PSN
Feb 23rd 2012 1:40PM (Joystiq)If only Capcom would do the right thing...Power Stone was so good!
This is awesome news, this game was so fun and surprisingly difficult at times, which I liked a lot. It's about damn time!
