@JuntMonkey I actually found the fourth book to be much worse than that. Especially the Cersei chapters. I can't stand her. Dance with Dragons gets really good though. Stick with it.

@(Unverified) They are allowed to have editorials. All sites have them . Not just IGN. Every news site (even if it's not game related) has editorials. If you don't like them, don't read them. It's as simple as that.

I've been wondering this exact thing for years. The problem isn't that JRPGs are niche, it's that they are too busy trying to change things like their batlle systems that they forget what makes the genre great.
