Report: Capcom sees 'no distinction' between on-disc and off-disc DLC
Apr 3rd 2012 3:00PM (Joystiq)Single player is still needed obviously, if not it would be nonexistent and it would be only be multiplayer which it isn't. I love unlockables and feel It's still needed, not everyone can have online and online play ain't always great due to bad connection, down servers, local network issues or just bad online mechanics. Mortal Kombat is an excellent of an awesome all round fighter down to the core.
Anyways back to the reason I was here. Capcom obviously made a full game and held back on content, they're shouldn't be no such thing as day one content or content made at the same time as the full product that is called holding back period. Call it what it is and don't sugar coat it, they want more money and next will be high priced episodic content. Give them and inch now and your whole wallet later. This will be the start of the end for the gaming industry.
Report: Capcom sees 'no distinction' between on-disc and off-disc DLC
Apr 3rd 2012 2:05PM (Joystiq)This is the video game console industry we're talking about, until this recent console generation we were accustomed to unlocking extra content on the cartridge or disc through passcode orachieving a certain task in game and if anything extra was released they would sell updated cartridge or disc. If you consider accustomed to be spoiled then maybe they shouldn't spoil us and as for your licensed software, they state so on the box; don't hide the fact that It's already on the disc.
Sorry for double posting, I'm a newbie and am on a smart phone which really isn't. Lol
