@giesen there is no Origin-bought game that will ever launch Steam. That would be ridiculous haha; the same way, I'd be so upset if I had to run Origin through a Steam-bought game.
But you're running into a different problem, there are games on Origin that will require Origin to launch. Some do, some don't. For example BF3 does, SWTOR doesn't, but that might be an exception as it's an MMO. I can't be certain, I don't use Origin.
@ofmana I finally made an account just to reply to you.
He didn't say he disliked the game, he said Japanese games "just suck". Everyone's entitled to their own opinion good or bad, that's not why people care, they care because he was rude. Things like this are amusing because he causes a shit storm and he's an easy target for people to abuse. I read some of his twitter, I didn't read his comments as jokes. Even if they were jokes, he's really got a poor sense of timing to be making jokes right now.
It's very easy to label all gamers like the ones your seeing now, because these ones are the most loud and obvious, but they're not all like that; even the ones who now choose to not support Fez or "crap their pants about the Mass Effect 3 deal."
The BioWare thing is a different, but I will say that I'm in the position that Day1 DLC, on-disc DLC is greedy and something I don't want to support.
Sega's Shogun 2 expansion leads the charge on Origin

Phil Fish's next game won't be on XBLA, might be Kickstarter'd
