I ADORE Alien... ...and sadly, I am embarrassed to say that Aliens started the downfall of the franchise. Alien is likely the most terrifying film ever made. It is one of the few that gets scarier upon subsequent viewings... The UNKNOWN aspect really sinks in with time...
Aliens is a military gun fest with an amazing setting.
Alien 3 started to get it back...
Now I feel the magic is gone.
Lets hope Prometheus kicks space-scary back in gear.
(I am looking forward to this game regardless... ;) )
