I went from playing Oblivion to FFXIII, and I was thinking, it's too bad they couldn't take the graphics from FF and mix them with the gameplay of Bethesda games. FF for me is a nostalgia thing. I played the original on Nintendo, a few of the sequels, and then FF 7 was a great game. I've played that over and over. I read somebody's comment once that the story ended there with Final Fantasy , and I agree. After 7, they were more about amazing us with graphics than the quality of the gameplay. I do like the battle system in XIII, it's a great concept. Def like the old school feel of elder scrolls, reminds me of when people played games like DnD and read books like Forgotten Realms. Story over graphics anyday...
