I love the "Oh my GOD the controls feel so dated. They feel like PS2 controls!" comments.

I don't quite understand how that works. The controller is essentially the SAME as a PS2 controller a different layout. Count the buttons. What exactly did you want the developers to do in terms of allowing you to aim? Get you to use the shoulder buttons to train your sights left and right? Or would you rather you had to press nine buttons to get a shot off?

The game is a little rough around the edges as the reviewer says - but it is actually a fun experience. That's what's missing from 99% of games today - and I for one am glad to see it coming back. If you look at things in terms of technological advancement alone, then you're never going to be happy. I play for fun - and I truly enjoyed completing WET.

Gamestop (and all retailers, including the ones here in the UK) are just making a profit - which is what you could do if you sold your games on eBay for pretty much their retail value.

Bought Beatles Rock Band on Wednesday for £39.99 - played it all day. Got a promo of it through on Thursday (thank you, slow British postman) and sold my original on eBay for £37.00. Also just sold FIFA 09 (which has been out for a year) for £15 - which is the price it retails at in most places. Gamestation offered me £6 trade-in value. Saying that, they offered me £2 for an Official Microsoft 360 Force Feedback steering wheel too. To say that I laughed in their faces was an understatement.

Damn! I bet Geoffrey was happy about getting dollars for other people's games!

The XMB is elegant? When did that happen? As much as I love the PS3, brilliant white text and a few poorly-designed icons doesn't suggest high elegance to me.

The whole frontend needs redesigning from scratch. Firmware 4.0, anyone?

I do see it from the other side, but I don't think I would have been comfortable with the joke either way, really. I realise that no more people are dying of this than of standard Influenza, but that's almost like saying that I can make jokes about people dying of Leukemia because more people die of cancer, IMO.

Someone I grew up with has died from Swine Flu no more than two months ago due to "complications." People ARE dying from this - even if it isn't in the huge numbers that were initially suggested - and I don't think your joke was particularly well thought out.

I'm just glad they could get one of the fembots from Austin Powers to PLAY Guitar Hero at CES. I assume the girl to the right is in sleepwear because that's how she plays Guitar Hero normally?
