Is your favorite weapon still in Worms?

Mar 2nd 2007 5:05PM (Joystiq Xbox)
Well sheep, kamikaze and banana bomb are all in there so I'll be kicking it old school. I never really played much beyond the original though, and I still think that's the best one.

Stuntman Ignition is on fire, literally

This looks like it fully kicks ass, although I like to have a race dynamic in my driving games. Graphics look great, the driving looks tight and there's so much going on in the background it looks like it'll actually be fun to watch the replays.

New Skate video: a Tony Hawk killer?

Mar 2nd 2007 4:07PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I liked the over-the-top Tony Hawk stuff, it really left you walking around the real world wondering how to grind and kickflip your way around the city.

This ones looks very nice though, I hope the trick system isn't too simplistic.

GTAIV going to Unleash "euphoric" experience

Mar 2nd 2007 3:57PM (Joystiq Xbox)
Thanks Michael Leonardo, that was me :)

Can't wait to see it running for real, and I can't say how happy I am that it's ended up in a sandbox game!

Hopefully it'll be a sign of what can really be done with next-gen consoles, something that's clearly way way better than anything that's come before it.

White Gold sniffed out for 360

Looks pretty good, although I'm more psyched for Precursors becasue of the Sci-Fi setting.

I see they're going at it Dynasty Warriors style and throwing out a couple of games that are practically the same. Apart from the setting. And the story. And the weapons. And vehicles. And, well, they use the same engine...

Video: Double Dragon in action

Used to play this all the time back in the day. This and Golden Axe anyway.

I'd definitely be interested in picking this up, it's retro but it's from the golden age of arcade gaming rather than the more basic retro titles such as Ms PacMan, which came from the dawn of computer games as we knew them.

Fanpoll: why did you buy Crackdown?

Feb 20th 2007 12:55PM (Joystiq Xbox)
Had so much fun in the demo that buying it is a no-brainer for me.

Although I haven't played the story at all, the sandbox was so much better than GTA given that you have special abilities to tool around with and power up.

We all make grammars error, but everyone still love us good. So it all good.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed art and videos

Cool, this is the same engine that was originally demoed with the Indiana Jones game. If they can get that kind of interactivity running in realtime, it will be awesome.

Add it to some kind of sandbox game and the possibilities for shenanigans (and youtube vids) is endless. How big a chain of people can you get hanging off a skyscraper? :)

Halo 3 beta: we're in! (mostly)

Feb 13th 2007 4:36PM (Joystiq Xbox)
@ AL7AIR

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that... :)

I just remember the same strictness that surrounded the Alpha this time round. I guess Aplha is the new Beta (especially for Google).
