Got my review copy for the 360 yesterday and I really dig it so far. It's silly in a good way and succeeds as a good blow the hell up out of everything game where other titles like Black failed.

How about just going back to making fun systems with good games, Nintendo? I just sold my Wii on Craigslist last week after finally getting one about a month ago and just watching it collect dust after the initial week of play. Even my four-year-old was happier playing with the old PS2 and 360. Really, though, I haven't been happy with the big N since the days of the SNES. I hated the controllers on the 64, I owned a GameCube and wound up giving that away because it was never getting played, and now the Wii.

Having owned one now, it's hard to see wat all the fuss was about. Hype rules, apparently. But when your kid doesn't even want to play the "kiddie" console, I think that says something. I really wanted the thing to be the great time everyone was telling me that it was, but it was not meant to be.
