Apr 30th 2010 11:24PM (Joystiq)Of course, painkiller also had terrible level design. The places were imaginative and beautiful, but they weren't used well by the gameplay, they didn't work well with the enemies, the pacing was off, and that stunning last level was also totally annoying and broken.
Fingers crossed that they've kept the great level artists and hired a few more level/gameplay designers.

Apr 17th 2010 4:15AM (Joystiq)It's only really games and cinema movies that have this "sell all your games in the first week" attitude... if you look at albums, dvds, books etc.. then they sell over a much longer time.. and wii games seem kinda similar.
I guess most wii gamers aren't reading the gaming blogs and rushing out on launch day just to get a game... they're going to the shop when they want an game and looking at what's around.
