Prince of Persia Retro leaping onto App Store

May 20th 2010 3:16PM (Joystiq)
When I was little, I remember going to my friend's house where he was playing this on his 386.

He was about 3 rooms away from the end and the timer ran out. Then he started crying.

Ahhhh. Prince of Persia. Good times.

Definitely a great game... and best of all, it won't ever take you more than an hour!

ioSafe's Solo SSD ditches platters, isn't worried about buildings collapsing on it

I can't see why you would buy this over their (much) cheaper non-SSD hard-drives.

If your data needs -this- much protection (versus only the waterproof/fireproof-ness that their cheaper models offer), wouldn't it just make more sense to pay for a service that does off-site backups?

@ovomac I live in Philly and I've gotta be honest here... "far friendlier"?

Which Philadelphia do you live in, because it's certainly not the one I live in.

Tricia Helfer AND Michael Hogan?

The BSG nerd in me is really loving this. And the ME1 fan me is really, really loving this.

Can't wait!

The Sega Nomad looked better than this and it came out 14 years ago.

Perhaps if had come out back then, it'd be pretty awesome. But since it's 2009, combined with the huge size? Pass.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Wireless speakers impressions

I have the "wired" version of these. Have ever since 2003. I think they cost me about $200, but they were worth every penny. They still work perfectly fine and sound absolutely amazing.

I'd probably be in for an upgrade to these... if the satellites were wireless.

I got an eeePC for two reasons: One, it was $400. And two, it's so ridiculously tiny, yet retains the functionality of a full computer, meaning I can throw it in my backpack every morning and use it to take notes in class.

Short reason? It's cheap and small, yet functional.

Famitsu gives Halo 3 a 37/40

"PC gamers that played shooters since Wolvenstein know what I`m talking about."

Wrong.

I've played FPSes since Wolfenstein, Corridor 7, Blake Stone, etc. all the way up to today's recent ones, and I still find the Halo games to be throughly enjoyable.

Assume much?

California white hat hackers: 3, Diebold and friends: 0

This is pathetic.

My bank has Diebold ATMs that work flawlessly and as far as I know have never been hacked. You'd think they'd be able to have at least the same level of security on a voting machine.
