Pokemon Trainer Challenge brings the trading card game online
Feb 16th 2011 1:33AM (Joystiq)boy are you going to be disappointed then. Read the description more carefully.
A) 3 preconstructed decks
B) no PVP, only a set number of rivals to play against
c) no badass music like the gameboy version had
d)awful awful "customizable" avatars. They couldn't look more boring/unpokemon-like. I'm just not sure what they were thinking.

Feb 9th 2011 12:34PM (Joystiq)These games were great, this is definitely a tempting purchase.

Here's a big list of developers and publishers working on NGP projects
Jan 27th 2011 12:37PM (Joystiq)Unfortunately I bet the first thing we see from them is a Disgaea 3 port. Not that I'm disappointed about that, but it just wasn't the best in the series.
Can't wait for news of Disgaea 4, although this brings up the question of how these types of games are going to be released now. It will probably follow the same pattern, ps3 and some time later ngp. Although a dual release of disgaea 4 on ps3 and ngp would be incredible, especially with that rumored moving your data back and forth between the consoles feature.
Diablo 3 preview: Blood, guts and loot
Oct 24th 2010 4:13PM (Joystiq)This pvp looks way worse than the old PVP. What is this arena crap, I want, let's walk outside of rogue encampment and go right now punk.
Why are they trying to turn this into WoW? I'm becoming more and more disappointed with each new thing I learn about DIII
BlizzCon 2010: Diablo 3 panel covers Artisans, armor models and atmosphere
Oct 24th 2010 4:10PM (Joystiq)I'm sorry what??? Has the writer of this article ever played Diablo II? The vendor system was a complete joke, as was gold. I am really not looking forward to D III at all anymore, it's looking more and more like world of warcraft diablo lovechild, instead of staying true to its roots.
PopCap canned a cute, turn-based Diablo-type game
Sep 27th 2010 10:41PM (Joystiq)Joystiq app for iPhone, iPod Touch now available!

Samsung Captivate coming to AT&T on July 18 for $200
Jul 8th 2010 4:30PM (Engadget)yeah I noticed that, but i'm secretly hoping it runs awfully so I can justify getting the Aria only because I honestly think this (The captivate) is one of the ugliest phones I've seen in a long time. The front isn't awful, but isn't attractive either, and the back is appallingly ugly. From the fake carbon fiber print to the "galaxy S" signature font... What were they thinking. Why couldn't they have just made this an attractive phone as well.
While the Aria may be greatly outstripped in specs, It runs flawlessly (which so far cannot be said of the tested out pre-release versions of the captivate), has a really nice version of htc's sense skinned on top, and is a much much better looking phone. and is 70$ cheaper, which might not matter to most people, but since I'm still young enough that my parents pay my phone bill, that part matter's to me.
All in all this shouldn't have to be a consideration, i'm just really dissapointed by how hideous the captivate is.
Samsung Captivate coming to AT&T on July 18 for $200
Jul 8th 2010 12:20PM (Engadget)why are you linking wirefly, they are well known scammers...
so to reiterate I have to choose between the aria for 130 or the captivate for 200.
assuming the reviews come back positive the big decision will be whether or not to get the captivate even though it is very very ugly.
