Rumors on UK shortages [update 1]

Another company with these problems in the UK is PC World.
I work for them and today on our intranet it stated that only the first 20% of preorders will be fulfilled on launch day. Anyone who ordered before october 18th should be safe...I preordered on the 20th of october and I might not get it till just before christmas!!!
This also means that Currys/Currys Digital will be in the same position.
