Windows Phone 7 Series won't have copy and paste

Mar 16th 2010 7:13PM (Engadget)
Oh man this is the final nail for me. I've still got an iPaq 614C with WinMo 6 that I use from time to time and I use copy and paste a load on that. Without that, multi-tasking (or at least a decent alternative) and sideloading, I don't think I'll be getting Windows Phone 7. This is gonna sound weird, but I'm going to miss janky, awkward WinMo.
Means I can upgrade my G1 sooner I guess.

GameGun going to be ready for retail by Christmas, will be console compatible

Exactly asuka, the viewpoint is the only thing that moves. However it moves when you turn the gun. Imagine you're looking at your monitor, holding your GameGun without its screen, and your radar shows someone behind you. You spin 180 degrees in real life to look at the guy, but now you can't see your monitor. Having the screen attached to the gun solves this problem.

On a side note, if I can afford one of these, it's getting paired up with some of those goggles with screens in :D

Video: SPRXmobile's Layar is world's first Augmented Reality browser for cellphones

Yeah, seems especially bad that the company's own marketing video is making that claim when it is clearly untrue. Surely the developers searched the app store before starting development to check out any competition, and would hence know they weren't the first? I agree that wikitude needs some love here.

Funny thing is, I'm sure I heard about Wikitude here first. Maybe it was at Download Squad. Ah well, hopefull wikitude gets the coverage it deserves somewhere.

"Cherrio" sounds more like a cherry flavoured cereal than anything I'd ever say as a British person :P
