You guys are on crack. The Apple is far superior. Sure it costs more and doesn't perform any better than a PC half the price, but it's all about the packaging and the awesomeness of being associated with Apple. I use Apple product because all my cool friends do and because their products popup on all the cool TV shows. And when I'm sipping a latte at the cafe I wouldn't look anywhere as cool showing off a Zune or PC laptop. Only Apple products can make that happen.

I also like minimalist design and white and that makes all my Apple products seamlessly fit in with the decor of my house. You can't tell me those benefits aren't worth all that extra money.

Such a shame it has 'real' affiliations. Isn't that company dead yet? Every self respecting geek on the planet knows Real is the bottom of the barrel as far as media players and quality are concerned.

I would think that the purchase price of the new Photoshop Suite (for PC) would be significantly less that buying a Mac - and then having to buy a Mac version of Photoshop. Unless you are able to use your Windows licence on a Mac. In any case, it would still be less expensive to just get the new Photoshop Suite.

Good article, and I agree on some points. But please, do not compare Gimp to Photoshop. Gimp is nowhere near the league of Photoshop.
