It is nice to finally hear someone talk of a solution to this absurd situation.
In my oppinion, the problem comes from the fact that there are two kind of adult media in american rating systems. AO and M for games, and R and NC-17 for movies, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Either a media is not only for adults, and everybody can buy it, or only adults can buy it. Adults who can just as well look on the back of the box to see what sort of mature content there is in the said game.
The solution would be to merge those two ratings together in one, and to drop those silly letters to adopt the numbers (18+, 16+, etc...) they use in Europe.

Goddamn it! This is ridiculous! Stop treating us like s**t Nintendo, this isn't 1985 anymore. Stop charging us ludicrous prices for a game that is 8 months late.
This is really pissing me off! Do you remember when Iwata said that he couldn't imagine first party wii titles costing more than $50 ? Well, one would naturally think that in PR speak, that would mean 50 Euros for Europe, right? well... no. Zelda costs the same as Gears of war, 60€. That's $68. And don't tell me that the price is not tax free in Europe. $68 is the tax free price.
I live in Switzerland. Here, a DS games costs 75 CHF, that's 57 dollars (tax free)! A wii costs $305!
Everybody says Sony is abusing us with their price point, but as far as Europe is concerned, Nintendo is the big rapist around here.
From the US to Europe, a 360 or PS3 game takes 13.3%
Wii games take 36%.
And we have to wait 8 months.
They've replaced the "Original Nintendo seal of quality" with the "turn around and put down your pants seal of quality"

Ok, it looks great. I admit that some of the gameplay mecanics are interesting. But little girls drinking dead bodies' blood? What's next? Babies getting raped and granmas eaten alive?
This game just is too creepy! Why do the ambitious games always have to be so dark nowadays?

When you take into consideration that Nintendo is almost raping europeans with its pricing, it really makes me wonder what the sales would be like in Europe if the prices were put to a decent level.

I mean, when I was in the US and went to Gamestop, I was amazed to to discover that DS games cost only $30-35, that's really not a lot of money compared to the $57 I pay here in Switzerland ($62 with taxes).

This story makes me want to puke. This is really disgusting. I thought americans had a better sense of what freedom means. On what basis could they possibly punish him? Depicting his school? This is empirical and arbitrary. This is just wrong.
