Too funny: the website for Liquid Image lists the depth rating at "Depth = 5 M - 30 M Depending on model rating" What does that mean?

This isn't a scam at all. I just wish I'd known they have this kind of deal. I've put $76,000 on my credit card this year alone (and none of it was my money... fixing up after a flood with insurance reimbursed funds). Would have been nice to score a PS3 or Xbox 360 out of the deal. Instead, I only have 3 free airline tickets.

Oh well...

"Dangerous!" HUH? Come on... it jams the cell phone, it doesn't cause it to explode. "IMAGINE SOMEONE USING ONE OF THESE AFTER A MAJOR ACCIDENT!" huh? That wouldn't hurt anyone, unless you consider preventing hundreds of "oh my god you won't believe what just happened to me" calls to be "hurting" someone.

Remember -- the world got along just bloody fine 15 years ago before everyone and their dog had three cell phones and a pager. We don't NEED these, people, they are a convenience.

As an intellectual property attorney, this sounds like copyright infringement to me. The authors of this work -- even if it is a fansite -- have the right to go after those copying their work, even if it isn't "word for word" copying. They just need to find a nice attorney to take their case pro bono (for free). Nothing is more irritating that stealing the work of the devoted to make a quick buck.
