Definitely won't be picking this up until I can consistently find multiplayer matches in under 5 minutes and consistently play 5 vs 5 matches. Until the matchmaking issues get fixed, Gears of War 2 will continue to be the biggest disappointment of 2008.

You can actually fight people in Gears of War 2 multiplayer? I thought it was just a screen where you see "invite friends" change to "connecting" and see hilarious messages like "remote parties restarted matchmaking." It's so entertaining that my friends and I have literally spent hours just staring at this screen.

I have Rock Band and I love the DLC format. $5 for 3 songs? That's the price of a beer in LA. $2 for a song? A lot of people spend more than that on coffee everday.

They continue to regularly release songs that are worth $2 to me and I will continue to buy them. Rock Band has been one of the most satisfying games I've bought in years.

When I click onto the "Inside Bungie" link you provided, I fail to see any mention of the melee fix coming this week.

I haven't read anything like that about Rock Band. I have read that Guitar Hero III will be less difficult than Guitar Hero II. I think they are aiming to make it more in line with the difficulty in GHI because GHII was too difficult for a majority of the audience.

I don't believe Metroid Prime 3 has been confirmed for online play.
