I've played maybe 25% of Bioshock, and I feel very immersed in the story, plot and themes.

I've also completed all 3 Halos, but could not tell you what it was about. Unless you consider "saving humanity from evil aliens" to be a sufficient summary.

Mid-core is a byproduct of maturation and the time constraints that are imposed on the gamer reaching into adulthood. Based on how mid-core is defined, I would extend that it could be/will be the largest demographic of gamers.

I don't think being mid-core gives any indication to the skill level of said gamers. It seems many of us here were hardcore at one point. But life does that to you. Many of us will probably succumb to the "casual" demographic years down the road.

Bring back the StarTac. That will turn things around.
