How do you manage your "to-play" list?

Jan 3rd 2007 12:52AM (Joystiq)
It's easy- I use XboxLive.com

I can see all of the games I've played, and my gamerscore. Then I set goals based on achievements.

For instance, right now I know that I want to get to level 50 in Viva Pinata.

I also know that I need to get 100 torque-bow kills in Gears of War.

After that, I'll get Rainbow Six and find some achievement that will be my 'baseline for finishing'.

Quarter gobblers are broken on XBLA [update 2]

The free download: pay as you play concept sounds pretty good. It might return a lot of the thrill to the arcade games.

But- I doubt it would make any money.

I've downloaded 5 or 6 XBLA retro titles. Each one was about $5 I believe.

I don't think I have played any of them more than 10 times. ($2.50 on the pay per play method) And I doubt that I am an exception here.

Most of the games end up being pretty bad. I just want them for the nostalgia, but when it comes time to play- I generally don't like them. (Joust? what a pile of dung)

I am excited about the Atari games coming out in 2007 though. Missile Command is something that could get me spending a lot more time with these games.

Early PS3 shortages hurting more than just sales?

Sony came out with less than 200,000 consoles.

Last year at this time, a lot of people were claiming that Microsoft was purposely holding back 360s to pump up the interest.

Does anyone think that about Sony this year? Or was that just last year's ignorant hypothesis?
