Would you watch TV on iTunes for $30 a month?
Nov 3rd 2009 2:21PM (AOL TV)I have a few other questions people aren't asking:
(1) Does this include access to a full back library of a shows? If so that would sure hurt DVD sales I would think (which has been the saving grace of the DVD/TV industry)
(2) Do I have to maintain an annual subscription? If not, what is to stop me from subscribing for one month (taking a month of work lol) and watching the full seasons of all my shows.

Aug 19th 2009 3:23PM (Download Squad)Re: Todd. If you really think changing anything on a production line costs $0.00 (even to a free product) you've obviously never worked in this business. Lets not forget these companies also deal to primarily business clients who require certain software specs.
I tried a year of Open Office in a Word world and it was a nightmare. And my wife threatened to divorce me then secretly installed M$ Office when I was on vacation lol

Jan 14th 2009 8:31PM (AOL TV)Sony email: PS3 a great value, Xbox "a burden on the wallet"
Jan 9th 2009 2:23PM (Joystiq Xbox)* With my PS3 I much prefer not paying for online gaming (though historically the XBOX's online gaming was much better this is starting to fade away as the PS3 much improves in this area.
* The machine is a LOT quieter
* In the HD/BluRay days it was much nicer not having the extra clutter from the HD drive
* The wireless is a pain in the arse on 360. I went with a cheaper solution for my 360 (Pelican) and it's a pain to reconfigure if you make any wifi changes.
* I like that the store is $$'s and not stupid points
* I prefer being able to go with a wide range of blutooth headsets other than brutally expensive secondary options for 360 (unless I want something equally as crappy as the 360 factory set)
For the 360:
* Graphics are better on multi system titles
* The online gaming is more highly populated (unfortunately a lot of tweens come with it though)
* System links better with my home servers
* The achievement system is still better than Sony's trophies (and every game has them)
All and all both systems have their plus/minues. *I* think my PS3 is a better value but to each their own.
As for my Wii... at least I can play with my wife and parents lol
