I think you have no idea.

An open beta means "We think we got everything but we're not sure. How about you guys try and break stuff and we'll see what happens?"

At least Sony aren't trying to rush it to market without testing properly, like some other companies tend to do with their products *cough*XBox360!*

I have no problems charging DS3s on my laptop, but I usually plug them into the 360 to charge as it has hot ports.

FWIW, miti-touch is in the current MacBooks, full stop. Two-finger scrolling is awesome and extremely hard to train yourself out of once you pick it up (which takes about two seconds).
