Spy Shots: 2009 Porsche Panamera

Yes, this is for sure the ugliest Porsche in many, many years... I'm not really sure who would buy an ugly heavy car, which has a 3.5 liter engine, when for about 1/3 of the price people can buy a G35 or IS350... I have a G35 sedan and no way I would exchange it for a Panamera... unless I take the Panamera to sell it, then buy with the money another G35 and put in my bank account the difference of the price... :)

If they want to make a luxury/sport 4 door car, at least they should have a V8 Twin Turbo, even better, a V10 Twin Turbo... they should look at what BMW is doing with the M5; would be a good point where to start to make a decent 4 door Porsche.

An apology, and a note on hype

This is what makes the difference between blogs and professional journalism... This Web site just prooved again that blogs will never be more than blogs and also that Joystiq.com is not different from the rest of the crowd... Webistes with unaccurate information, filled with ads... ;)

New study: Full-size SUVs consume less energy over lifetime than hybrids

Apr 1st 2006 12:10PM (Autoblog)
There is a big difference between "how much energy does it takes to produce, run and dispose of a car" and the impact on the environment... Even if today it costs more to drive a hybrid than an SUV, there is no doubt that an hybrid is a better environmental solution for now... No pain, no gain...

#3 (Ken): Just keep your M3 stock rims or buy some nice M5 rims... forget those ugly "DUB Edition" rims dude; you are driving a nice M3, not a Civic. Just my opinion... ;)

200,000 miles. That's all?

Jan 24th 2006 10:31AM (Autoblog)
I guess I could add to that list my 1991 Mazda 929S... a little over 200k miles, still running very strong and I think that I'll be able to drive it for another 1 or 2 years before something very serious would happen to my ride... BTW, I'm living in Canada and the bad weather does not helps cars here. I'm spending about 1000-1200$ CDN per year in average for the mainteance.
