Mafia 2 'Cars and Clothes' DLC available now

Sep 30th 2010 12:41AM (Joystiq)
I remember when they teased the Hot-Rods in game and let you drive one for a mission, but you never find them again. I was disappointed at the time, then I thought that they would probably release them as dlc, which made me angry. Now, I feel nothing as I haven't touched the game again since I beat it and couldn't care less.

Not limiting, just giving to them early. It makes sense if you sort of squint at it, like a magic eye puzzle.

Top Gear Live lambasted for using fake Ferraris

I think it is fair to assume that if it is a travelling show it would be VERY expensive to have the real thing and maintain them, I didn't take the opportunity to see the show while it was here but I don't think I would have minded as long as they put on an entertaining sceptical.

No way, the song was great. First time through I thought they were singing:

'Oooh Yeah! Tech Support!' But I think it was actually technical.

I for one would be greatly disappointed if the English version doesn't come with the song in it's original JRock glory!

You're supposed to start posts like this with 'I am not a lawyer' but don't worry, what you wrote makes that pretty clear.

HTC MAX 4G gets a proper unboxing in Russia

Dec 21st 2008 11:44PM (Engadget)
It's early adopter syndrome on a large scale, huge investment in what is now old technology and the telcos are unwilling to invest more when people are still paying good money for what they already have. It's a shame, but thats how it is. Places like Russia are able to take advantage of the economies of scale and production that the US weren't. At least that is my completely uninformed opinion.

Spore tops list of most pirated PC games of 2008

That's a whole lot of people who didn't have to pay money to realise that Spore was lame.

World of Goo has 90% piracy rate

Nov 13th 2008 4:33PM (Joystiq)
It seems crazy that this game doesn't have a unique account system to prevent pirating, it seems ridiculous that people with pirate copies are posting to the leader boards. I grabbed the demo off steam and thought it was great, I just don't have any time to play it at the moment (haven't even finished the demo, it is quite challenge in parts anyway) but I'm sure I will end up grabbing it at some point. I just remember getting burned with Eternity's Child, I am more than happy to support the devs but that game and I just don't work.

Wheel of Time rolling onto video game scene

Actually, I have read the whole series, I have also read many other series, which I am confident YOU haven't. I thoroughly recommend you broaden your horizons and see what you are missing out on. Total page-count is not the best measure of the scale of a series.
