Roundup: Wii and DS game release dates for 2010

Feb 24th 2010 3:49PM (Joystiq)
Game & Watch Collection 2 is probably not for WiiWare; I'm quite certain it'll be the DS game that Club Nintendo members in Japan got.

Scribblenauts could come to other platforms

Oh absolutely, but honestly, how many people prefer USB keyboard input for consoles or controller-based keyboards over simply typing or writing letters on a screen? Both work well enough, but I personally prefer stylus input.

I'll stick with DS, thank you; you guys know you can write stuff, right, not just typing? I don't want to have to buy a USB keyboard to play this on a console, or not being able to play it on the go as easy as with handheld systems.

Being the DS fanboy I am, I would love to see it as DS exclusive, but a PSP or iPhone version would be great as well.

Anyone know how to flip the screens for lefty mode in BASE 10? Can't seem to find it...

Day one buy for me for sure; can't wait for this awesomeness!

DS trailers and screens you may not have seen yet

I wish NIntendo had given us a release window for both Picross 3D and WarioWare: DIY; that list that popped up just had TBD for both; boo.

I want 'em both nao!

Scribblenauts passes our ten-word challenge with flying colors

When everyone can spend hours just thinking of words to use in a game and make them objects, without even focusing on the objectives, goals, or puzzles themselves, then I'd say the game is tons of fun. Fun playing through the main quest or just fooling around with words and objects; how can it not be fun? I guess if the puzzles are too easy, but I haven't heard that from this game.

Every article I read about this makes me want it more; can't wait!

Miyamoto: Zelda Wii coming in 2010, at the earliest

Wrong! A 'new Pikmin' was never confirmed to be either 3 or for the Wii; Nintendo themselves pointed this out, a few months ago.

Could be Pikmin DS, which I would love.

Woah, woah, easy with the Clubhouse Games comments; that one's a great game, my favorite out of my 223 DS games; that's saying something. It's perfect; single and multiplayer gaming perfection on the go.

Anywho, I watched the trailer and I'm sure a whole bunch of the games should be really fun to play; I was very interested, and when I saw the $20 price tag, I was sold; I'm buying this!

DS sells 100 million units worldwide [update]

Mar 11th 2009 3:07PM (Joystiq)
Hells yeah; wOOt!

Sony, is this the gimmicky fad you were talking about back in August 2004? What, it just sold 100 million, over twice what the PSP has done...

...and counting! This is awesome. I bought 4 of those 100 million, out of which I still have two, and I'm getting a DSi on launch.

The DS will be the best-selling handheld AND game system of all time for a long time; long live the DS!
