This makes perfect sense.

Force Unleashed is more about the single player campaign, Clone Wars plays more like Soul Calibur, and this third game will (hopefully) play like the sword fighting in Wii Sports Resort (camera at the back, full one to one motion control).

All three can co-exists peacefully.

As for me, I don't think Overkill will "feel" like a real HotD, but that's fine by me, as I already have HotD 2 & 3 and already have my fill of traditional HotD feeling.

The big difference between Overkill and past HotD games is that Overkill is trying to be corny, where the other games in the series did it by accident. There is a huge difference between a game that is trying to make you laugh and one you discover to be funny without it meaning to.

I'm shocked that they are going more for Wii/DS connectivity than WW/GC connectivity.

Why can't I bring all my kick ass gear I collected in the GC version into City Folk? Sadly, I bet the answer it "The Virtual Console".

Ever since that service started, Nintendo wants nothing to do with any game that features playble versions of NES or SNES classics.

Looks awesome. My big problem with the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games is they allow for zero creativity. This news just changed my whole outlook on that.

This game isn't likely to even to leave Japan, as it's characters are mixed up in all sorts of foreign licensing messes. Rumor has it though that Capcom is working with Marvel to have this one brought to the states with Marvel Comics characters swapped out for the Tatsunoko ones.

If that happens and this comes to the States as Marvel Vs Capcom 3, I will officially deem the Wii the greatest console on the planet.
