i remeber when rumors were they would not have a spring launch. than there was talk of a delay which our pal friends got. Than there was some talk of slashed launch numbers

and every time sony denied it.

Next bluray diodes are not easy to mass produced. it could be years befor they effectively are able to make them in number needed to support say a mas market item. this is a fact. no one has tried to mass produce the blue diode and they need to be perfect to work. yields are incredibly low. Sony will not reach 2 million nor 6 million by march. They have not even been able to launch there own bluray player, even the hd-dvd add on for the 360 is in very short supply for the same reason.

Just some food for thought. I never trust what sony says. NPD data shows 197,000 us concoles for nov. thats not 400,0000. They will not hit 1.5 million in Dec. thats a given
