Project Sylpheed demo now on Xbox Live Marketplace

Jun 14th 2007 11:23AM (Joystiq)
The funny thing is, even if this game were developed by Square, they've only ever done one other "SHUMP" to my knowledge, and IMO it's one of the best of all time. If you haven't played Ehrgiez (SP?) on PSX, then do yourself a favor and track a copy down.

New games this week: Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree edition

Mark,

RE4 for the Wii ships next week, on the 19th. That's why they didn't mention it.

Wait, I thought that Joystiq had already announced that the Prince of Persia remake was coming to XBLA this week, but now you just have "????". Did something happen?

VC Monday Madness: Finally, we get Punch Out!!

I think there's pretty much no chance of seeing Perfect Dark, so I'd just give up that hope right now. That franchise, much like Banjo Kazooie and Conker, belongs to Microsoft now.

Also, VC doesn't do graphics tweaks, performance upgrades and the like. If we did get PD on VC, it'd be just as you remember, slow down, seam tearing and all. To paraphrase Electronic Arts, "if it was in the game, it's in the game".

I totally agree with #6. Super Punch Out is bar far my fav, but I'll still pick up the original when I get home tonight. There's still some nostalgia to be had with some great gameplay.

GHII X-plorer problem explored, culprit found?

Apr 6th 2007 9:51PM (Joystiq Xbox)
^^^There's definately not a recall, at least not yet. That's the only thing so far that Red Octane has been willing to confirm, so I guess Kotaku is wrong on that one.

For the record, I also got a '56 guitar, but the part number on the box is '55, and my whammy bar is still really fussy, so the method in the blog is definately not a catch-all.

Guitar Hero II aims to have the most Marketplace content

^^^Honestly, I'd be satisfied if they were able to release new song pack once a month. I think once a week is expecting a little too much.

Bravo if this is done right. Naturally, I can't help but fear that hey'll go the EA route though. If we're expected to pay for guitars, skins and/or characters that could be unlocked through normal play on the PS2 version, gamers (including me), will hit the effing roof.

Please, let me be wrong Activision. I so desperately want to give you my money for worthwhile content (i.e. regular, new song updates).

Flashback creator working on Wii title with Eric Viennot

You bet I would DL it, as well as its predecesor, which I think the above poster was trying to reference as well, though I'm pretty sure it was called "Out of This World" ;)

Huzzah! Psychonauts on 360, Soul Calibur, Conker too

I just read Major N's blog, and it didn't say anything about Indigo Prophecy. Are you sure about that one?
