You may be right - it's not an easy thing to quantify. But even if 360 support hasn't wavered, PS3's has definately seen a boost recently. Also I just want to clarify that while I don't have a 360 myself (roommate does though), I'm not biased towards PS3. If I had the money I would pick up a 360 tomorrow.

It is amazing to see the general swing towards PS3 suddenly. I think Sony have made some really good decisions so far this year. It looks like the 360 support which used to be so strong is wavering. Microsoft really need to start playing catch-up. The subscription model for Live and the failure rate of the consoles have really dented potential sales. Also with the PS3's new price and all the things included (blu-ray, wireless, free online), MS are going to have to really deliver with Natal and land some excellent exclusives if they want to get back to where they were 2 years ago.

The reason that position doesn't exist, is because this is a gadget and technology blog, not an in-depth military technology assesment. Nobody here is really interested in much more than the fact that a plane has a laser on it. Just look at the comments above yours. Get your head out of your ass - "pew pew pew" is just fine for most readers.
