Even if you pay £40-£50 for a new game you still don't own it, when game makers make money from selling ads you/I don't see one penny from that so why should they get any money from when when I decide to sell 'my' games.If they want money when I sell 'my' game we/I should get money when they sell in game ads.

Nintendo with the announce of the DSi basically screwed the makers of Tony hawk DS and gitar hero(and any other attachments for ds) in one swift punch to the nuts. I wonder how they will react to nintendo sabotaging the games they've spent hard cold cash on developing.When the DSi hits their games are going to be incompatable with it,that has to hurt.

It must be true comming from Carmack but,I always thought that the dreamcast had more graphical power thant the ps2. The ps2 had less vram than the dreamcast.When they launched I had fist gen from both systems and I can remember the ps2 needing almost 2 years to have games that top what the dreamcast had at launch. I must have rememberd that wrong because Carmack has worked (if I'm not mistaken) on both systems but.

Good, AMD still managed to get their foot into the next gen consoles door.I felt bad for AMD when they were passed up in favour of IBM.I guess this deal will bring them closer to microsoft.I wonder if this will rub of on AMD with some ZUME or the fabled xboy love.

This probably will hurt AMD and nVidia relationship since they are now direct competitors and at the same time it will throw sand in the eyes of Intel specially since AMD President Dirk Meyer also said that in addition to multi-processor platforms, that 'as we look towards ever finer manufacturing geometries we see opportunity to integrate CPU and GPU onto the same [die].'
I wonder if this has anything to do with their ppu asperations.
In less than a week we've had two major announcements,I thought summer was supposed to be slow :)

Let our powers combine ;) .I hope they don't screw it up because this can be COOL.I think it will bring a new dimension to the GPU and CPU wars.Lets see how Intel and nVidea react.
