I'm not sure how I feel about the term 'non-troversy.' I'm glad people didn't freak out over the gay kissing in Bully, but it doesn't exactly ease any worries I have about the general public. That kiss may have been a 'non-troversy,' but that doesn't mean that homosexuality in general is viewed the same way IMO. It seems that the key to this 'non-troversy' is to make homosexuality an option rather than a character trait. I think it would be better (not to mention much more realistic) if the player had to deal with more characters who were gay whether you wanted them to be that way or not.
